Adjourn Page 1 of 2 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MAY 29,2013 MEETING MINUTES 1. Call to Order/Approval of Agenda: President Runk called the meeting to order at 8:30 p.m. Present: Vice-President Swenson, Treasurer Dougherty, Secretary McComber, Board Member Liljegren, City Attorney Vierling, City Engineer Long, City Administrator Johnson, Public Works Director Kegley, and Deputy Clerk Pinski. Absent: None. Secretary McComber, seconded by Treasurer Dougherty, moved to approve the Agenda. Carried 5-0. 2. Approve Meetiniz Minutes—May 14,2013: Secretary McComber, seconded by Vice- President Swenson, moved to approve the Minutes. Carried 5-0. 3. Bell Property: City Attorney Vierling reported that he sought input from realtors on the market value of the Bell Property, and they had identified it in the $85,000 to $90,000 range. He stated the county had it valued at slightly more than that. He stated that the City could market the property and could reject any offers. City Planner Richards reported that the property was zoned business warehouse. Treasurer Dougherty stated that with construction going on, now may not be the best time to market it. Secretary McComber stated she was not opposed to holding on to the property until after construction was complete. She suggested that if someone approached the City about the property, the City Administrator could bring it up to the Economic Development Authority. 4. STH 36 & Osizood Redevelopment Area Update: City Administrator Johnson provided the Board with a draft MOU for MNDOT and Washington County. He stated he had not yet received any feedback from Adam Josephson at MNDOT and Wayne Sandberg at Washington County. He stated staff would continue to work on the agreement when feedback was received. Johnson reported that MNDOT wanted to form an agreement for the City to take back Lookout Trail from the State. He stated he would have Adam Josephson provide a proposal on what the benefits to the City would be. 5.
