Re: site Lighting at Stillwater Ford, 12969 oa Street north
Dear Mr. Hecker:
The redevelopment of your Stillwater Ford facility appears to be nearing completion. At
this time 1 am writing to call your attention to several conditions of approval which were
required by the City council. The conditions approved by the city council at their
meetings of 10/26/99 and 11/23/99 regarding the lighting of the site include the following:
The site plan is revised such that all outdoor lighting along the site perimeter is
located not less than ten (10) feet from the street right of way or five (5) feet from
an internal side or rear lot line and that the intensity of outdoor lighting measured
at the property line does not exceed four - tenths (0.4) foot candles.
All outdoor lighting poles must be reduced to twenty -five (25) feet in height.
All existing outdoor lights be retrofitted with cutoffs that direct light at an angle of
ninety (90) degrees or less and conform with applicable illumination
requirements.
The applicant shall be encouraged, but not required, to dim the parking lot lights
at night when the dealership is not open.
Thank you for your attention to these conditions to ensure that these elements of the
project are completed according to the approval you have received.
Sincerely,
Kris Danielson
