Oak Park Heights,MN 55082 Re: Parking Pad Dear Kay: Thanks for the follow up on the parking pad and the status of your camper. Per your communication, the camper is parked on the driveway, for sale, and will remain in the driveway until it is sold. You've stated that as there will be no need for the parking pad,you will not be installing one at this time. Based on this information, please find the permit application and check remitted for the originally planned parking pad. If you should opt to install the pad down the road, please remit a new application for permit at that time. At this point we have no reason to build a parking pad, as we have no plans to buy another camper when this one is sold Thanks, Kay:) Sent from my iPhone On May 12, 2015, at 6:36 PM,Julie Hultman<jhultman@cityofoakparkheights.com>wrote: Hi Kay, So,the boat that was in the drive has found a home? Clarify for me then please :-) You will or will not be doing a parking pad? I have a permit application and a check from you guys to pay for it. When dropped off,we talked about how big it could be and it was put on hold so you two could talk and get back with me. If you're gonna skip it, I will return your permit application and check. If you want to do it and alter the size, I just need the revised site plan. Let me know which way you're gonna go so I can do what I need to do. I have your check and permit application, but I was left with the understanding that you were going to discuss the possibility about making it wider and possibly longer along the driveway and were going to get back with me. Give a shout and let me know where things are at. If you need me to stop and visit, let me know and we will coordinate a meet. It will run at least partially along side of the driveway and probably all the way back to our shed. Obviously wide enough to accommodate the camper. I can certainly bring a drawing to you. I would really like to have the requirements again as I'm not sure where I put them. We were hoping to get an early start but it looks as though winter's here again. Let me know if there's more you need from me otherwise I will come by a little later in the week with the drawing. Additionally, my son's boat is temporarily sitting in our driveway it has been for a week or so and it might be for another week. He just got it and is waiting for his dad to take it and store it for him.Just wanted you to know what's up in case Rick complains. I will try reaching you by phone later today, if I haven't heard from you already. The permit fee is going to be$25 flat rate because it is a zoning permit. Before I can issue it though, I need to know who is installing it,what is being installed (ie:crushed rock, pavement, etc.) and I need a drawing showing me how it is coming off the existing drive and where it will be in relation to the side yard property line. The parking pad base does need to be at least 4"in depth of material. If you need the parking pad requirements again, please let me know. If you want to email this information or fax it over, that would be great. Last week she dropped off a permit application for ci-class 5 parking pad for their camper to be placed to the south side of their house and at their shed area (as reflected in the picture provided by Mr. Wells). I was not in the building when Kay dropped off her permit and have contacted her to provide me with a site plan for the project. I will follow up with her today.
