B. Thron Variance
Cit Planner Alan Brixius reported on the variance re q uest for the addition of a
g ara g e on the propert located at 14386 58th Street North, notin unanimous
Plannin Commission support for the project. Planner Brixius also reviewed the
conditions recommended as terms of the approval.
Mr. Throne was present and added that he prefers the second plan which includes
a stora area. Mr. Throne stated that he reall needs this stora area for
maintenance e used at the propert Mr. Brixius noted chan that
could be made to accommodate the approval of the plan with the stora area
located between the proposed g ara g es. Discussion was held concernin Xcel
Ener easements and overhead power lines.
Councilmember McComber, seconded b Swenson, moved to adopt the
Resolution approve the plan for the lar structure and to have approval from
Xcel Ener prior to construction.
Councilmember McComber, seconded b Swenson, moved to amend the primar
motion to revise condition #3 to allow for three parkin spaces to remain and the
rest of the bituminous surface to be removed. Carried 4 — I. Beaudet opposed.
Ma Beaudet moved to amend the primar motion to add that g ara g es are to be
used onl for the stora of vehicles. Motion died for lack of a second.
Roll call vote taken on the primar motion. Carried 5 — 0.
C. Autumn Hills Park Purchase Site Amenities
Communit Development Director Danielson reported on the Parks Commission
recommendation for the purchase of tables, benches and waste receptacles for
Autumn Hills Park.
Councilmember B seconded b Doerr, moved to approve the purchase of site
amenities for Autumn Hills Park with funds to come from the Park and
Recreation Development Fund.
Discussion was held concernin the cost and installation of the items.
Ma Beaudet, seconded b Councilmember Doerr, moved to amend the primar
motion to postpone the issue to the next Council meetin Carried 5 — 0.
