Subject: Holiday Station Customer Appreciation Event - Change
Morning Brian,
I received a phone call from Phil, Holiday Station Manager. They want to move the location of their grilling event on
the 23 and 24th of this month. Rather than have it in the parking spaces between the building and the store sign facing
Hwy 36, they would like to move the grilling to the grass area between the old Rapid Oil and their store, about midway
down the grassy area and not too close to Osgood. Holiday owns the old Rapid Oil site.
Phil has no problem with the fire extinguisher at the grilling site and has regrouped to keep staff off the parking area
and drive aisles to keep things saner and safer.
Any thoughts on your end?

Subject: RE: Holiday Station Special Event Permit
No I do not see a problem for the temporary issue of handicapped parking since they can also just park in front of
the store as many people do anyway. Have them bag or cover the sign while they are blocking the space.
If you can I would make it a requirement that they have a fire extinguisher directly at the site of the grills while they
are in operation—due to the high amount of flammable materials in the area.

Subject: Holiday Station Special Event Permit
Hey Brian,
Phil, the Mgr. of Holiday Station has submitted an application for a special event permit. They are planning a customer
appreciation event for their 20 year anniversary on Aug. 23& 24. As part of the event, they wish to grill brats& hot
dogs in their parking lot and propose to do this at the N. side of their store in the 2 parking spaces between the store
and their pylon sign. One of the two stalls is a HC parking space; however the S. side of the store also has
designated HC parking per the mgr. and the bulk of the parking spaces.
Do you have any issue with the request? Please comment at your first opportunity.
Thank you Si
