Hi Julie,
First off, they were never told to contact the city. I believe they are just trying to get around this as they have called everyone
but the governor. Matt went back out there yesterday to clarify what was needed and why. Brad Carmichael was also
following up with her as he was called as well. They do need what was listed on the report. They will be seeing us once a year
as we are getting back on track with the annual business inspections.
Hopefully this was taken care of.
Thanks,
Mike

That would be awesome Mike. The gal that called was a bit older, I am sure she will appreciate a definite understanding. As
always, I appreciate your help.

Hi Mike-

I received a call from Edward Jones Investment regarding a Fire Inspection Report they received, dated January 27, 2009 and
signed by Matt Bell and Brandon Johnson. The Edward Jones office is located on the upper level (street level with Andersen
Corporations parking lot)of the old Central Bank Building.
The inquiry was regarding the comments in that they need a fire extinguisher in their office and that they were told to contact
the City to see if we required them to have an exit sign above their door inside their office that leads to the common lobby
area.
The comment section specifically states"Need a fire extinguisher, need and exit sign." The caller noted that they don't recall
having ever had such an inspection before and per the property file for the site the only other record I have is from 4-24-03 to
the Ted Johnson Dental Office.
So, since I have never advised anyone of the need for an exit sign at the direction of the F.D. suggesting they check, please
tell me whether or not this is a requirement to their office. If so, it would be very helpful for those folks there to know what it is
you need and why. Also, since they called, they also wanted to know if they need the fire extinguisher in their office.
I appreciate your emailing me back so that I can pass along an affirmative to them and a contact number for any additional
information needed on their end regarding this inspection.
Thanks.
