We are writing to notify you that the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry(DLI) plumbing staff will be inspecting the above referenced project for compliance with the Minnesota Plumbing Code,Chapter 4715. DLI inspects plumbing for these types of facilities(MS 326b.106, subd. 3 and MS 326b.43, subd. l and 2): 1. Licensed health-care facilities regulated by the Department of Health(MDH). These facilities include hospitals,nursing homes, supervised living facilities,outpatient(ambulatory)surgical centers,boarding care homes,residential hospices, and dialysis facilities. 2. State-owned buildings(e.g. state correctional facilities, Minnesota state colleges, MNDOT projects, DNR projects, etc). 3. All Independent School District(ISD)and charter school projects. 4. "Projects of a Special Nature"as determined by the DLI, or as requested by the municipality. DLI will NOT issue a copy of the Report on Plans to your office for the referenced project.
