Re[2]: Stillwater - Oak Park Heights
Kris,
We've tracked down the status of payments that are due you. Please see the
message below. It appears that all pending payments have been processed
and checks have been Issued for all but the attorney's fees, but that one
will be issued on 0125.
Regarding reimbursement of your consultants' fees, you may recall that
Rafferty Rafferty Tollefson Architects made at least two efforts last fall
to issue a check for $1,000 to the city of Oak Park Heights to cover what
you estimated would be your consultants' fees for work on extending the
pavement of 55th Street North, but in each instance your attorneys returned
the check to RRT. We then asked RRT to just hold the check, and to
reimburse you for any invoices you submitted for consultant fees. I
understand that you have received reimbursement for some fees, using this
method. In discussing this with Steve Muyskens, we felt this method would
be a much faster way of getting those fees reimbursed than to negotiate and
process a separate legal agreement for this purpose.
We hope you will agree that the USPS has made good faith efforts to process
payment requests when submitted, and to reimburse the City for consultants'
fees. We also hope that you will agree to continue using this method of
fee reimbursement, and to allow Bonestroo to immediately begin analysis of
our site design for the purpose of determining whether the existing
regional ponds have sufficient capacity to cover our site, so we won't have
to construct a separate retention pond. As you may know, we have given our
Contractor Notice to Proceed, and he has already begun clearing the site.
We need to get the retention pond issue resolved as soon as possible, so as
to not delay the contractor. Your assistance in this matter would be
greatly appreciated.
would like to phone you this morning to discuss this matter further. I
hope you'll be available around 10:30- -I'll try then.
Thanks!

Debbie,
I called the city's finance director today and she said they still
have not received the last two payments (I know today was the PPA date
on at least one of the payments.) Please find out when the payments
for $65,563.20 and $6,573.65 were sent. Judy also said that the check
for the assessments was $6.75 over the amount due. Would this have
been for interest?
Thanks for your help,
Steve

Please advise what payments you are wanting a status on. Has the
30 -day PPA date past? The commitments and payments that I have
processed are in the NCO file. Let me know the specific payment(s)
you need traced if the PPA date is past.
