Dear Mr. Roettger:
Enclosed herein and as per my email to you on April 1, 2016, please find the permit
application and supplemental work information as submitted by yourself for residing to
the duplex located at 5650/5660 Penfield Ave. N. in Oak Park Heights.
Unfortunately, it is prohibited to issue work permits to property owners for work to their
owned property, unless they physically reside within them. As the duplex is a rental
property, I am required to issue the permit to a Minnesota licensed residential
contractor.
Please locate a contractor to perform the work and have them obtain the necessary
permit for the residing work. No work shall occur until such time a valid, issued permit is
in place by State Law.
