The Cit of Oak Park Hei was re to extend 55th Street b the United
States Postal Service in 2000 to provide access to y our carrier annex facilit
Our Cit En has informed me that q uotes have been received for this
project, and the contract award for the project was made b our Cit Council at
their meetin of 7/24/01.
The road improvement project will be scheduled followin the receipt of the costs
for the road extension and will continue for approximatel two weeks, durin
which time access to the road would be limited or shutdown as necessar A
cop of the q uote is included for y our reference.

As we have recently discussed, the city of oak Park Heights will be improving
55th street later this summer. This road serves as the main access for the
Carriage Station development in your city.
Our city Engineer has informed me that quotes have been received for this
p roject, and the contract award for the project will be on our city council agenda

for their meeting of 7/24/01.
The road improvement project is expected to begin in early August and will
continue for approximately two weeks, during which time access to the road
would be limited or shutdown as necessary.
Please contact our city Engineer, Dennis Postler at (651) 604 -4515 with any
questions you may have about the project, and/or to put the developer of
Carriage station in touch with our Engineer.
