Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: 6213 St. Croix Trail N. #101 —Remodel Work—"STOP WORK NOTICE" Dear Mr. Donnelly, This letter serves as a"Stop Work Notice" directing immediate cease of any and all work occurring at 6213 St. Croix Trail N. #101. I notified you in writing, after your visit to City Hall, last June that a permit was required for the remodeling work the unit and that a Minnesota licensed residential contractor was required to pull the work permit. Since that communication, you have stopped by and inquired about whether or not your contractor has been in to collect the work permit for the project. As of today, I have not spoken with a contractor as to a work permit or had any inspection requested to the unit. I received word from the State Electrical Inspector that he had been called to the unit and has performed and passed a rough-in electrical inspection to a kitchen remodel at the unit and that he has observed a wall removal and installation of a micro-lam. He has been asked to provide no further inspection to the unit until I have notified him of a work permit having been issued by the City. I attempted to visit the unit on April 13, 2016 and was not able to gain access. At this time work to the unit is in violation of Minnesota State Law that directs the attainment of a construction permit for the alteration. Until such time a valid work permit has been issued, no work shall occur to the unit. Please contact me immediately with any questions. Your prompt attention to this is requested and appreciated. Sincerely, PLANING & CODE ENFORCEMENT f: 1 Jul't Hultman B , ling Inspector
