TO THE CITY BUILDING DEPARTMENT

City of Oak Park Heights to ect a fence upon or within five(5)feet of my property line(s)
located at the following address:

Be it further known that, in compliance with City Ordinance 401.15.E and the request
of the Building Department of said City,I have notified in writing or have spoken with the
property owners adjoining my own property of my intentions.
By their signature below and/or attached written notification,each of these property
owners have been notified of my intention to erect a fence as outlined on the backside of this
page.

Re: Fence Construction—South property line—14271 56th St No.
In review of the request presented to the city of a permit to replace an existing fence, and as an abutting
property owner along the southern line of the property of 14271 56th St No., I grant permission for the
permit to be issued to construct a replacement fence of like or better kind in lieu of a certified land
survey establishing property lines as officially recorded at the Washington County Surveyor's Office,with
the following conditions:
1. Current fence line will be used with no encroachment any closer to the south and my property.
2. Replacement of the current fence in its current location is not an acceptance that this is an
established property line as officially recorded with the Washington County Surveyors Office.
3. This permission to grant the permit to build in no way grants ownership or implied ownership of
land to either party except that which is officially recorded on with the Washington County
Surveyors Office.
4. No future right of use ownership argument can be made by either the permit applicant or future
property owners or myself or current owners of my property if the current fence location is
deemed to be on my property. Only legal descriptions on file with the County Recorder's Office
will establish legal property lines.
If the applicant does not accept the conditions as outlined as items 1 to 4,then I would require a survey
be conducted by licensed professional as outlined in city ordinance prior to issuance of a construction
permit.
