CITY COUNCIL CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Oak Park Heights, at their June 26, 2001 meeting, rezoned the area east of Stagecoach Trail and north of 56 "' Street from R -2, Low and Medium Density Residential to R -1, Single Family Residential, and in order to make the Comprehensive flan consistent with the zoning designation, the Planning Co of Oak Dark Heights held a public hearing relative to the Comprehensive Plan and made the following findings of fact and recommendation to the City Council: 1. The real property affected by said application is legally described as follows, to wit: SEE ATTACHMIFNT A and 2. The City Council of the City of Oak Park Heights, at their June 26, 2001 meeting, directed staff' to complete a Comprehensive Plan amendment and schedule a public hearing of the planning Commission to consider a Low Density Residential land use designation for that area east of Stagecoach Trail and north of 56 Street; and 3. City staff prepared a memorandum dated July 5, 2001 reviewing the change in land use designation for the property in question; and 4. Said memorandum recommends that the Comprehensive Dian land use designation and zoning classification be made consistent; and 5. The Planning Commission held a public hearing at their July 12, 2001 meeting, took comments from the public, and recommended at that meeting that the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map designation and the text for Planning District 9 be revised to reflect a Low Density Residential classification for that property within the village Area that is east of Stagecoach Trail and north of 56 Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF OAR PARK HEIGHTS THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES THE FOLLOWING: 1. That the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map designation and the text for Planning District 9 be revised to reflect a Low Density Residential classification for that property within the Village Area that is east of Stagecoach Trail and north of 56 1h Street.
