Box 2007 Oak Park heights, MN 55082 -2007 Re. Boutwell's Landing Tunnel under 58 Street North City of Oak Park Heights Bonestroo File No. 55- 08000 -1 Dear Eric. 416 Bonestroo Ir On September 22, 2008, Paragon Company (a subcontractor to A & P Construction) completed the bituminous patching for the Boutwell's Landing Tunnel on 58 Street North. The base course, binder course, and wear course were paved in separate lifts for the two patch areas. Following the completion of the paving, Tone Ozzello and I completed an inspection of the patch work. The ride - ability of the roadway, along with several poorly constructed joint areas is unacceptable. Bonestroo recommends reevaluating the patch work in the spring, following a freeze -thaw cycle, to determine if, and what kind of surface and joint correction is needed Please let me know if you have any questions or require additional information.
