Based on our discussion, you propose that routing stormwater runoff from the proposed sidewalk to a location where infiltration is feasible creates practical difficulties . You are requesting to expand the existing infiltration basin to accommodate the stormwater volume from the sidewalk by infiltrating additional stormwater from the parking lot. We agree with your proposed approach of expand the existing infiltration basin to retain additional stormwater from the parking lot. Additionally, the entire Boutwells Chapel project meets the MSCWMO 2015 Watershed Management Plan definition of common plan of development and will be required to complete a review by the MSCWMO. All new and fully reconstructed components of the project will need to meet all stormwater and erosion and sediment control performance standards.
