Joint Public Safe jy Trainino Facflil and Supportin State of MinnesotaLe to Provide
Financial Assistance for the Construction of the Joint Facility.
Councilmember Tuni seconded b y B moved to approve -the Resolution. Roll call vote,
was taken. Carried 5 — 0.
VS SA PUD Amendme Minor Subdivision Recfuest.
Cind Sherman, Northwest Associated Consultants, stated that the Plannin Commission
has reviewed this re and is recommendin approval.
Councilmember Turn seconded b Swenson, moved to approve the VSSA PUD
A-mendment/Minor Subdivision Re q uest. Motion Carried 5 — 0.
than Lindh, Valle Senior Service Alliance, addressed Council re the proposed
sidewalks on the west side of Norwich Circle. He stated that the residents were concerned
about the aesthetics and did not want to have sidewalks put in. He re that the
Council should decide on sidewalks after -the landscapin and construction is completed in
the area. In the event that the Council wants sidewalks VS SA will put sidewalks in and if
the Council does not want sidewalks STS SA will put the mone towards additional features
in the park or other items on the site.
Councilmembers Tuni and Swenson, moved and seconded toapprove Plannin
Commission recommendations with the chan of addin Council approval of specifications
and location of sidewalks to condition #7.
D. Discussion of and Authorization to Direct Staff to Send a Letter to Con Luther's
Office in Su ort of Retail Services at the Postal Site.
Councilmember Beaudet, seconded b Ma Schaaf, moved to direct the Cit
Administrator to send the letter. 1 otion carried 5 — 0.
