Re: City of Oak Park Heights- River Hills/VSSA Linear Park;
Oak Park Heights Right of Access
Dear Mr. Lindh:
At its February 24, 2004 meeting, the City Council for the City of Oak Park
Heights directed this office to commence communications with Valley Senior Services with
regard to formalizing the City's acquisition of the 150-foot wide area lying adjacent to the
northern border of the River Hills development, as is further described in the Development
Agreements that have been executed between the City of Oak Park Heights and Valley Senior
Services Alliance.
The purpose of this letter is to let you know that the City is ready to acquire the
property at this time under the terms of the afore-mentioned Developer's Agreements. We
would suggest, in order to commence the transaction, that the Valley Senior Services produce a
site survey with a specific description for the site. Thereupon, this office will prepare a Purchase
Agreement, based upon the previous agreements of the parties. Thereafter, the same may be
reviewed and routed for execution, and the closing dates can be secured.
Please feel free to have your staff or counsel contact this office relative to this
matter, in order to coordinate activities.
