June 22, 1999 Meeting on .dune 1 1 999 at the site, attending were lathy Widin, Tim Freeman myself and the co y ncerned resident — Gary Hoge. We walked the west perimeter of the site where the i surveyor had staked both the Y sit fence and the tree protection fence. The purpose of the walk through was to "fine tune" the ro osed p P grading limits in order to save (if possible) any significant tress and to verify the tree removal and repla 1 ent plans. At several locations, Mr. Howe commented tented `t What about this tract ? I 1 each case Kathy and l evalu the situation with regards to the proposed grading and drainage and the individual tree itself. With maybe one exception, either the rear lot drainage from the building re quired the removal of the tree and/or the tree itself was determined to be a poor specimen, i.e. old, deformed, diseased, dead branches, etc. This process went on as we moved from north to south along the west grading limits. It also appeared that in several places the grading would extend beyond the proposed silt fence location. I commented that some changes need to be made in these areas and that the silt fence and tree protection fence could be one and the same if the orange silt fence were installed. We then moved to the east toward the center of the site to inspect additional tree protection fence locations, l found it interesting that Mr. Howe left at this time and only seemed concerned with those trees near his lot) We walked the perimeter of this area and determined that the fence could be Loved in some areas to encompass more of the drip line of the saved trees, There was also another isolated compound tree that we determined would need to be removed and was not marked correctly. At this time Tone Abel arrived and a short conversation took place regarding the wetland issues. We were informed that at this time the entire project is basically on hold pending a decision by the "authorities regarding the fate of the existing wetland areas. c c: Kris Danielson Kathy Widin Qoneetroo, Rosena, Anderllk and Ass"lates, Inc.
