Additionally, it does not comply with the Conditional Use Permit and Planned Unit Development approved by the City Council in May of 2001 for business operations at 12430 55th St. N. Open and outdoor services, sale and rental (services) as a principal or accessory use is only permissible via a Conditional Use permit to the B-3, Highway Business and Warehouse District, within which your business is situated. To have this use considered and possibly approved, a new or amended conditional use permit application first is required. Submission of an application is not a guarantee of approval, but is the necessary first step. For your convenience, I have enclosed Ordinance 401.300 B-3, Highway Business and Warehouse District and a Development Application. The Development Application shall be completed as per the criteria found within the application and returned no later than July 13th, 2016. Staff would be willing to meet at any time to answer any questions you may have. Please note, the City will require the the U-Haul Business operation to cease and all associated vehicles and equipment shall be removed from the site if this application is not duly approved by August 31, 2016.
