Areas and work performed this s day'
Braun Intertec personnel performed 1 proof load test on a 3/4" post-installed threaded rod anchor as directed. The
anchor was tested using a calibrated hydraulic jack assembly. The anchor was tested in unrestrained tension to 500 lbs.
in general accordance with ASTM E488-03 "Standard Test Method for Strength of Anchors in Concrete and Masonry
Elements." A representative specified the threaded rod that needed to be tested along with the load the threaded rod
needed to be tested too. The load was gradually applied to the rod and held for approximately 90 seconds.
The threaded rod and epoxy was tested to the design load of 500 lbs. The rod withstood the load, showing no signs of
failure or fatigue.
