Please contact me with an questions you may have at 439 s:\SHARED\Forms\COUNCIL ACTION REQUEST.doe WHEREAS, the City of Oak Park Heights has received a request from Valley Senior Services Alliance for an amended planned unit development site plan change and approval of light fixtures and screening for the main campus building at Bout Landing; and after having conducted a public hearing relative thereto, the Planning Commission of Oak Park Heights recommended that the application be approved with conditions. The City Council of the City of Oak Park Heights makes the following findings of fact: 1. The real property affected by said application is legally described as SEE ATTACHMENT A 2. The applicant has submitted an application and supporting documentation to the Community Development Department consisting of the following items: follows, to wit: and and RESOLUTION NO. a'2-c) 9 -35- OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL THAT THE REQUEST BY VALLEY SENIOR SERVICES ALLIANCE FOR AN AMENDED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND APPROVAL OF LIGHT FIXTURES AND SCREENING FOR THE MAIN CAMPUS BUILDING AT BOUTWELLS LANDING BE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS SEE ATTACHMENT B 3. The subject site has previously received planned unit development approval including the trash enclosure area. Site/building plans changes resulted in exterior storage of the trash receptacles. The amended planned unit development is necessary to allow the present location of the trash receptacles and to approve the landscape plan proposed to screen the trash enclosure; and 4. The City Council asked for a Planning Commission recommendation on light fixtures installed on the main campus building and the screening for ground mechanical devices; and request; and 6. The memorandum dated July 2, 2002 recommended the request be approved with conditions: and 7. The Planning Commission held a public hearing at their July 11, 2002 meeting, took comments from the applicants and public, closed the public hearing, and recommended that the application be approved subject to conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES THE FOLLOWING: A. The application submitted by Valley Senior Services Alliance for an amended planned unit development site plan change and approval of light fixtures and screening for the main campus building at Boutwells Landing; and affecting the real property as follows: Be and the same as hereby approved by the City Council of the City of Oak Park Heights subject to the following conditions: 1. The trash enclosure shall be screened with additional landscaping as approved by the City Arborist. ATTEST: 5.
