Cit Planner Richards provided an overview of the re for amendment to site plan and conditional use permit, allowin the width of the drive throu lane to be expanded from 12 feet to 16 feet. He reviewed his report re the same. Chair Vo opened the hearin for public comment at 8:06 p.m. Plannin Commission Minutes Jul 11, 2002 Pa 5 of 6 John Kohler of Semper Development provided the Commission with an update as to the proposed chan to the site and provided them with photos of landscapin for their convenience. Communit Development Director Danielson noted comments received from Jeanne Anderson re the site as it relates to traffic in the area. Commissioner Runk, seconded b Commissioner Dw moved to close the public hearin at 8:09 p.m. Carried 5-0. Commissioner Dw seconded b Commissioner Runk, moved to recommend Cit Council approval of the re for amendment, subject to the followin conditions-. 1. The applicant shall redesi the site plan to illustrate a 24-foot wide drive lane and a 4-foot wide sidewalk alon the west side of the buildin 2. The applicant shall g rant the Cit a public access easement for a sidewalk adj acent to Os Avenue, subject to review and approval b the Cit Attorne 3. This amended approval is subject to all the ori conditions of approval as outlined in the ori conditional use permit, dated Ma 31, 2002. 4. Condition number 11 of the ori resolution shall be amended to read as follows, "This Conditional Use Permit re that an chan in the use of the propert must compl with the Cit Ordinances and parkin standards in place at the time the use chan 5. The revised landscape plan is subject to review and approval of the Cit Arborist. Carried 5-0. F. Chair Vo opened the hearin for public comment at 8-.15 p.m. Ken Hoo.ge of -Sr. Housing. Partners summarized the site chan and process to date. He stated that the have been workin to assemble a plan that works for both the Cit and for the Minnesota Housin Finance A He noted that the are still workin on the tot lot location. Mr. Hoo addressed a number of q uestions from the Commission and staff and walked throu a schematic plan, briefl describin road ali g nments in relation to the existin roadwa around the proposed project.
