Box 2007 Oak Park Hei Minnesota 55082 Dear Ms. Danielson: SUBJECT: Wal - Follow up Minnesota Department of Transportation Review #SO 1 -024 N of TH36 / E of Os Oak Park Hei Washin Count C. S. 8214 0 E I V A OCT 1 9 2001 In response to the j oint meetin held October 2, 2001 and Mn/DOT's review of the a revised site plan for Wal we present the followin comments: Mn/DOT will support Washin Count position of allowin the ri in/ri out onl off of Os provided the fronta road is closed j ust south of this location. The submitted site plan does show the developer installin curb and g utter and closin this fronta road. The developer will also remove an unnecessar fronta road pavement and restore the area to an ade condition. The site plan should reflect this. As y ou know, Mn/DOT has easement over the trian of land located in the southwest section of the proposed development. We are not willin to relin this until such time that we determine the future need of this area. We will a to allow the developer to perform landscapin on this section. However, it must be made clear that there is a possibilit of us needin this portion of land for future hi development needs. And maintenance of an landscapin will be the responsibilit of the developer. We will also not allow the p si to be placed in this section and it should be moved to the northerl position as shown. If y ou have an q uestions re an of the above issues please contact Todd Clarkowski, Area En at (651) 582-1169. As stated in our Ma 29, 2001 correspondence, an Access Permit will be re alon with a permit to allow the work within Mn/DOT ri of wa This permit application should include a "restoration" plan for the fronta road area.
