The plan is attractive and will provide its screening function well. 2. The species list is fine, as is the planting detail. 3. A number of the trees on the W side of the property are being planted within or very near the drainage /utility easement. The property owner should be aware that, according to OPH City Code, any plants which are planted in a drainage or utility easement will need to be removed and/or replaced by the property owner in the event that the City needs to do any work within the easement. 4. If the drainage easement consists of a swale which will stay wet for periods of time, the spruce and pine should be moved further up the slope to the west, since they do not tolerate "wet feet" very well.
