The City in receipt of several documents from your office and/or from Raymond Harris & Associates, relative to your
application for a Building Permit. The submission includes: a building permit application, building plans (3 sets), civil
drawing/grading plans ( sets), two (2) sets of specifications, two (2) sets of structural calcs, two (2) sets of hydraulic
calcs, one (1) soils report, two (2) sets of energy calculations, two (2) fire alarm submittals, and three (3)sets of garden
center drawings. Additionally a check for $ 19,792.92 for Plan Review Fees has also been submitted.
The City will now commence building plan review, we hope to complete this review not later than November 15
2005. Should Wal -Mart choose not to build this project, the above fees for Plan Review are not refundable.
It is important to be aware that it remains Wal -Mart's responsibility to fully comply with the terms of the approval
documents, the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and Developer's Agreement. Should there be deviations in the submitted
construction plans from the layout approved by the City under such CUP, Wal -Mart may be required to perform
significant retrofitting and replacement to secure an Occupancy Permit. Generally, the City at this stage does not
review the building permit documents from a CUP viewpoint, rather from a building code perspective. Therefore, a
"double- check" should be performed by you to ensure that the documents submitted to the City for a Building Permit
comply with the terms of the CUP.
Lastly, to date the City has not yet received the following and the City may not issue a building permit until these are
complete:
1) Payment of the Building Permit fee estimated to be $30,450.65,
2) Payment of other related building permit fees TBD, (SAC, meter fees, utility connection).
3) Supply the City with a copy of the Plan A - Performance Bond.
4) Final • ayrnent of the connection charges --- see Development Agreement.
