BackgroundlJustification (Please indicate if any previous action has been taken or if other public
bodies have advised):
The City must vacate internal drainage and utility easements to facilitate the approved
expansion of the Wal -mart. In general, the current parcels now separate are to be conjoined by
the filing of the new plat. Wal -mart cannot be constructed over the current easements or across
parcel lines. With the filing of the new plat and minor subdivision, the City would receive new
utility and drainage easements.
Staff recommends approval of the request, subject to final verification and review by the
City Attorney's office.

Lot Foux (4), Block One (1), AL -MART ADDITION,
according to the plat on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles, in and -
for the County of Washington and the State of Minnesota.
