1, PERMIT:
This permit shall be subject to the following conditions and/or restrictions imposed by the City Council of
the City of Oak Park Heights.
|). GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Developers have requested a permit to remove the stockpile from 5600-5610 Memorial Boulavard.
A. Grading Drainage. Following removal of the stockpile the site should be graded to flow toward the
existing storm sewer inlet on the northwest of 5000 Memorial Avenue perking lot and erosion
protection measures will be installed to protect the storm water inlet, or the stockpile site will be
contoured to form e temporary retention basin with and overflow to the storm water inlet and erosion
control measures installed at the overflow to protect the inlet..
B. The Developers and their contractors shall be responsible for street maintenance, including curbs,
boulevards, sod and street sweeping as may be necessary until the pro is complete. All streets
ohe|1 be maintained free of debris and soil until the pro is completed. The repair of any damage
dome to the streets or public utilities by Developers or any of its Contractors or Subcontractors, oho||
remain the financial responsibility of the Developers.
C. The Developers and/or their contractors shall control soil erosion ensuring:
1. All site work oho|| conform to the requirements of Brown's Creek Watershed District Permit No. 02~14
.
2. All site work shall conform to the natural ||rnibatiODs presented by the topography and soil of the lot in
order to create the best potential for preventing soil erosion.

3. Erosion and siltation control measures shall be coordinated with the different stages of development.
Appropriate control measures as required by the City Engineer shall be installed prior to development
and reinstalled or modified as may be necessary to control erosion.
4. Land ahe|> be developed in 'increments of workable size such that adequate erosion and siltation
controls can be provided as construction progresses. The smallest practical area of land shall be
exposed at any one period of time.

5. Where the topsoil is removed, sufficient arable soil shall be set aside for respreadin over the
developed area. The topsoil shall be restored to a depth of at least four (4) inches and shall be of a
q ualit y at least e to the soil q ualit y prior to development.
D. Construction Schedules. All work to be performed under this permit shall be completed no later than
Jul 31, 2003 unless extended b the Cit Administrator.
