PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
Thursda April 10, 2003
MINUTES EXCERPT
Call To Order/Approval of A Chair Dw called the meetin to order at 7:00
p.m. Present: Commissioners Lil j e g ren, Runk and Powell. Actin Cit Administrator Holst,
Cit Planner Richards and Commission Liaison McComber.
Vice Chair Runk, seconded b Commissioner Lil to approve the A as
presented. Carried 4-0.
B. WATE To consider re of WATE Enterprises for site plan review,
amended concept plan review and general plan of development/planned unit
development review for construction of a new office/warehouse buildin includin
cold stora buildin and parkin at 5610 Memorial Ave. N.
Cit Planner Richards reviewed the applicant's re provided an issue anal and offered
concludin remarks and recommendations.
Chair Dw opened the hearin for public comment at 7:45 p.m.
Todd Erickson — Project Engineer noted the hi of the project and discussed draina at
the site.
Vice Chair Runk, seconded b Chair Dw moved to close the public hearin at 7:57 p.m.
Carried 4-0.
Commission discussion ussion ensued as to Cit Arborist report and its re of the applicant
to prepare a tree inventor for species cate and trunk size, buildin color scheme, si
and plannin report conditions.
Chair Dw seconded b Commissioner Powell, moved to recommend Cit Council
approval, sub to the followin conditions:
The applicant should identif the s foota of office space and warehouse space
• to determine the appropriate parkin spaces needed prior to Cit Council review.
2. The access and circulation plan is sub to the review and approval of the Cit
En and Fire Marshall.
3. The applicant should identif the location of snow stora within the site plan
sub to review and approval of the Cit En
4. The applicant shall modif the site plan to meet the 20 percent g reen space
requirement.

Attorney.
16. All other conditions of City staff, the Planning Commiss on, the Parrs Commission
and City Council.
