Hi John,
Please reach out to your tenants to remind them that parking upon the yard area is not allowed by
City Ordinance. All vehicles are to be parked upon established driveway. Vehicles have been
parking off to the right of the driveway, upon the yard on a regular basis. This area is not an
established driveway.
Should you desire to establish as such, you will need to apply and receive a parking
pad/driveway expansion permit which will require a licensed contractor submitting an
application for such improvement with a site plan that shows the dimensions and materials
planned for the driveway. The permit fee is very low at $25.00 and may be a good solution to
your parking needs at the house. If you would like to discuss doing this, please reach out to me
with an email or a phone call.
I appreciate your notifying your tenants to refrain from parking upon the yard area. If the parking
continues, the violation will be addressed and you and/or tenants may be subject to citation.
