Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: "Rev It Up For Charity Motorcycle Run" Even — July 13 & 14, 2007 Dear Ms. Wahlin : I am in receipt of your letter regarding the above-referenced event, requesting a special event permit allowing an outside band and serving/sales of alcohol outdoors and upon property owned by Eagles Aerie 94. Please consider this letter your permit for: 1 . Outdoor Band on July 13th & 14, 2007 upon the Eagles Aerie 94 premises from 6:00 p.m . to 10:00 p.m . Please be advised that the band is expected to shut down at 10:00 p.m . Complaints received by the Police Department about music/noise will be investigated and any activity after 10:00 p.m . considered a noise nuisance will be required to cease per City Ordinance. 2. Outdoor Alcohol Service/Sales on July 13th & 14th, 2007 upon the Eagles Aerie 94 premises. Access to the outdoor area must be barrier controlled so that no one may exit except by going through a checkpoint. The barrier shall include the service/sales area and the area where your customers will be gathering and consuming the product served/sold . Anyone located outside of the barrier with alcohol in hand will constitute a violation of this permit and the service/sales operation will be required to shut down . Your letter does not mention anything about banners or other temporary signs for your event. If there is temporary signage planned, please complete the special event permit application and return the same to my attention for approval consideration. The City's sign ordinance outlines the limitations to temporary / special event signs. I have enclosed a copy of this ordinance language for your use in event planning. I wish you success with your event. Please contact me with any questions you may have. No camping . From: Judy Hoist Sent: Monday, July 109 2006 3 : 12 PM To: Lindy Swanson Subject: Outside Bands and Tenta Lindy, The Eagles keeps asking me if outside bands are permitted. I believe they want one in the parking lot for Lumberjack Days. Please let me know and I will pass the info along to the manager. I was also asked if they could have people put up tents for like a weekend in the back grassy area at the Eagles (I assume to sleep in if they are from out of town). I don't know why anyone would want to do that, but I was asked. I'm not sure that anyone is planning on pitching a tent, but they asked . Let me know and I will pass that into along to the Aerie also. Thanks, Judy 7/3/2007
