I do not, however, find a copy of the landscape plan here. Is there a copy at City Hall? Thanks. Johnson; tozello@cityofoakparkheights.com *Subject:* Xcel Energy Sub-Station Landscaping Eric - I have reviewed the landscape plan for the Xcel Energy Baytown Substation in OPH. 1 received the plan 5/7/07 (could not find a date on the plan itself). The design is attractive and consists of evergreen and deciduous trees and several different types of shrubs. The plant materials chosen represent a good species mix and the sizes are appropriate for the use. I would recommend, however, that, instead of species silver maple, they use a hybrid of silver maple and red maple, such as "Autumn Blaze", since it has better form. The Planting Detail is fine. The landscape contractor should be sure to remove the burlap from the top of the root balls and the twine from the base of the trunks of trees and large shrubs at time of planting, or they will have to return to do that.
