Re: A.S. King Plant Administrative Office Trailers Interim Use Permit
Dear Mr. Smith:
The City Council approved an interim use permit for Xcel Energy on May 25, 2004 and also approved an
amendment to the same on March 29, 2005. The interim use permit approvals allowed for the placement of
13 office trailers at the A.S. King Plant site as part of its expansion process. These are located just north of
your gated entrance. (At this time they are on blocks with the entry platform removed).
Please note that the approvals include a deadline of July 1, 2009 for the removal of the trailers. For your
convenience, 1 have enclosed a copy of the original Interim Use Permit and the Amended Document.
Please take the necessary action to ensure removal of the trailers at the A.S. King Plant prior to July 1,
2009.
It is also known that as part of the installation of these trailers for water services, Xcel Energy did install a
potable well. Has this well been abandoned? is it still in use? Please advise as to this condition.
ttention to these matters is greatly appreciated
nson
