This survey was conducted on April 4, 2006, with the following results: Significant Trees Cottonwood (Populus deltoides) - 1 -44 inch dbh Red Oak (Quercus rubra) - 2- 16 inch dbh, 1 -15 inch dbh Black Locust (Robinia pseudo - acacia) - 1 -8 inch dbh, 3 -- 10 inch dbh, 2 -13 inch dbh, 1 - 14 inch dbh, 1 - 18 inch dbh Total number of trees: 12 The Ordinance requires replacement of one 2.5 inch diameter new tree for every two significant trees removed, therefore, Xcel Energy is required to replace 6 trees. Since each new tree will cost approximately $400 the total replacement cost for these six trees is $2400. It is our preference to send a check in this amount payable to the City of Oak Park Heights rather than plant the trees on site, per Ordinance 1307.070 Item 10.
