Administration - Administrator Robertson reported that Adam
Josephson and Jef f Gibbons from MN/DOT will be present at the
September 23 workshop per Council re
Robertson also reported that SuperAmerica has re
cancellation of their Public Hearin on September 23 and has
waived their 120 da limit on action in order to revise their
plans after a meetin with staff last week provided them with
information about what the Cit will re
Councilmember Swenson, seconded b Turn moved to
reschedule their strate plannin retreat for Saturda
November 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Carried 5-0.
Cable - Councilmember Turn said that the Cable Commission
will be meetin on next Wednesda September 17.
Water Mana Organizations - Councilmember Beaudet reported
that the WMO will meet September 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Ba Cit
Hall.
Recyclin Award - Administrator Robertson reported that the
recipient of a $25.00 check from the Cit of Oak Park Hei for
participatin in its rec pro is Timoth Wohlers of
14571 55th Street.
Councilmember Swenson su that the Council consider g ivin g
a prize such as a carbon monoxide detector or a smoke detector
rather than mone for the rec award. There was some
discussion on his su and Council re that this be
put on an a in the future for further consideration.
Oak Park Hei Business G - Robertson said that the next
meetin will be on September 10, 1997. Keith Ulstad of Oppidan
Development will be there to talk about the Oak Park Ponds
Shoppin Center Development.
