Closed Business Signage &Trailer Parking Compliance Request
Hi Dan:
I hope this letter find you and your family well. I noticed that you moved your business
operation over to Greeley St. and that the OPH space is vacant and the wall signage has been
removed. With regard to sign removal, please be advised that City Ordinances 401.15.G.11.a
and 401.15.G.15.c do require closed business signage to be removed within 30 days of the
business closure. This would include the sign faces for the pylon sign. The sign area needs to
be fully covered and/or blank panels placed to the sign cabinet. The cover/panels shall be
fully opaque so that no illumination passes through.
Also, there is a boat trailer parked in the grass area to the rear of the site. Parking upon the
yard way is prohibited by City Ordinance. Please remove the trailer to a parking space at the
building rear or remove it from the site. The grass area does not appear to have had much, if
any maintenance. If this is yours, please have it mowed or maintained.
Please remove the trailer, attend to the yard way maintenance and have the freestanding sign
faces attended to no later than Monday, October 5, 2020. A compliance will be made after
October 5th
