Dear Ms. Klimek,
On April 9, 2001, I was able to inspect the repairs to the firewall and plumbing at the
above referenced property owned by Letitita Jink.
Please note the following:
1) The sizing of the water lines did comply with the minimum requirements of
the code, but alterations were made to allow for better use of the cupboard
spaces.
2) I was not called to verify the fastening of the sheetrock to the firewall. Mr.
Jack Krongard informed me that he made the repairs and they were properly
fastened to the wood studs. All patches were taped and covered with joint
compound.
It appears to me that all repairs comply with the requirements of the Minnesota State
Building Code. Should you have any further questions please contact me at the City.

Dear Ray and Alice:
Paula Klimek, Association Manager for
On October 14, 20001 received a call regarding plumbing repairs made at the above referenced addressley View
and was requested to complete a site visit to ascertain whether or not the repair conformed to City code
requirements.
During the course of my site investigation the following code violations were noted:
1. The integrity of the firewalls was destroyed by penetrations and the cutting of sheetrock;
2. The replacement pipe used was undersized; and
3. No permit application was submitted for this work.
I request that you provide me with written explanation for installing 1/2" pipes into the firewall.
Finally, before any corrective work or inspection shall occur, at the premises I must receive permit
applications for the plumbing repair and for the needed firewall repair.
Ray, a second site investigation with you and Jack Krongard of Krongard Construction Co. must be made
prior to Tuesday,November 28, 2000 to assess the above violations and manner in which corrections
must be made. All work to be corrected inspected and approved no later than December 15,2000.
