Thank you. No, I will not require a permit; however, will place this information in the resident property file. Of note, the
photos show that the basement has had some remodeling done to finish it, including what looks like paneling on the
ceiling. No permit are found on file for this area to have ever been finished or egress windows placed.. It should not be
used as a sleeping room and wood application to the ceiling is not Code compliant.
If you would be so kind as to have your crew provide follow up photos it would be appreciated.

RE: Foundation repair for 14416 55th Street, Stillwater MN 55082
Existing structure is a one-story wood framed structure on CMU foundation. Based on an
assessment provided by Innovative Basement Authority ("IBA"), the structure is experiencing
bowing walls in the foundation that is greater than what is considered normal for the age of the
structure. IBA has recommended INTELLIBRACE to stabilize the foundation. Residential Engineering
Services, LLC ("RES") has reviewed the data provided by IBA and RES has verified that the
proposed products are adequate per the manufacturers requirements for the loads applied.
