Items such as the refrigerator, garbage, electronics, wood, other construction material, collected oil, and such shall be removed. Additionally, the pool full of murky water is to be emptied. With this letter you are directed to take the necessary steps to have the items stored to the exterior of your home removed, stored to its interior or appropriately cleaned up no later than Friday. The donation of$6,500 to this project is a reflection of your belief in the importance of the history of this County and its preservation. We are honored to be able to launch this campaign and to see the strong community support behind it that will result in the transformation of an empty business office building into the Washington County Heritage Center. The stories WCHS preserves and shares are applicable and interesting to anyone seeking to learn about not only the geographic area encompassed by the County, but the life of those who came before and made their homes on the rivers, lakes, forests and plains of what is now the United States. This history applies not only to Washington County residents, but to all who visit the area, seeking knowledge of the past - whether that is four hundred or four years ago.
