Dear Jerrid and Elise,
The piles of brush and/or tree branches piled at your yard and the general condition of weeds at the
yard are a public nuisance per City Nuisance Ordinance 1109. A copy of this Ordinance is enclosed.
If not already done, the brush and/or tree branches need to be removed. Brush and smaller branches
can be placed out for trash collection and should be broken down to small bundles, 3 to 4 feet in
length. There is no charge for this collection. If you plan to cut and store some of the branches, the
wood should be stacked neatly to the rear or side yard, behind the house. Wood should not be
stacked against your home.
Once the brush and/or branches are taken care of, please mow and treat your ward for weeds and
continue to do so as needed.
Lastly, it appears that there is a vehicle parked on the yard area, along side of your garage. Per City
Ordinance 401.15.F.6. vehicles shall be parked in a garage, car port, or on a defined driveway leading
directly into a garage or car port constructed of concrete, asphalt, cobblestone or paving block. If the
vehicle is upon yard area, please relocate it to the driveway or garage.
Please have the above items taken care of prior to Monday, August 16, 2021.
