Re: Soil Erosion
Dear Mr. Kruse,
It has been brought to my attention that the fill that you had brought in to level your yard
is being wash into the streets and storm drains. A silt fence is needed at the back of the
asphalt curb to further prevent this erosion. I have enclosed a handout showing the
standard details in constructing a silt fence, which must be installed immediately.
I am also enclosing a copy of the City's Ordinance that requires Landscaping projects
that took place during the winter months be completed no later than May 315t of the
following year. I am requesting that you please have this wall completed and the sod laid
no later than July 30, 2007.
Please note: the City of Oak Park Heights Public Works Department has be directed to
obtain the services of a street sweeper to remove the dirt and rocks that have washed into
the street from your property. You shall be charged for their services.
