Re: Americinn Oak Park T-eights
Revised Final Grading Plan
Our File No. 55-00-000
Dear Jim:
We have reviewed the revised final grading plan for the proposed Americinn Motel as submitted
by HKS Associates, Inc. and have the following comments/recommendations:
1. The proposed elevation approximately 6' west of the northwest corner of the building
(currently shown as 940.95) should be 940.00 as shown on the previous grading plan. This is
needed to allow positive drainage away from the proposed building finished floor elevation
of 941.00. As such, the proposed elevations along the overland swale south from this
location will need to be adjusted accordingly.
2. The 250' retaining wall proposed along the westerly embankment has a Top of Wall
elevation of 944.00 for a majority of its length. Storm water runoff from behind/above the
wall will need to be directed north and/or south to outlet around the ends of the wall. We
recommend that erosion control measures be taken at these locations to prevent likely erosion
from storm water runoff.
These two revisions were discussed with the contractor, Mr. Dave Perry of Cobra Coustrueiion,
via a telephone conversation this morning. If you have any questions regarding this review,
please contact me at(651) 604-4815.
Very truly yours,
BONE TROO, ROSENE, ANDERLIK &ASSOCIATES, INC.
