Re: Trash in lot at 5964 Osgood Avenue N., Oak Park Heights
This letter is a follow-up on for the phone call I made to your office earlier this afternoon.
The City has received complaints about the accumulation of trash in the lot located south
- of Valvoline,5964 Osgood Avenue N.,Outlot A of Oak Park Heights Auto Plaza: There
are two large broken real estate signs on the lot,and a large amount of trash. Since this is
a County road we have also referred thecomplaint to the County Highway Department
also. Their basic response is that if the signs are on their Right of Way they will be
removed and disposed of The issue of trash is actually a code enforcement issue that
normally is handled by the Police Department. In this case, we have chosen to seek
voluntary clean up rather use the enforcement arm.
Please have the broken signs removed from the property(if a sign is to be replaced be
careful that it is outside of the ROW) and trash picked up by Tuesday April 18th.
