Re: Vehicle,trailer,&outdoor storage of shingles
Dear Ms. MacDonald,
This letter is to inform you of the zoning violations at your property location of 14337 N.60th, in the City
of Oak Park Heights. The following violations exist:
1) The Ford van, last registered to Brett&Elena MacDonald, with the Minnesota license number
KMW 063,expired in 2003 and it appears that the vehicle may not be operable. This vehicle is
in violation of City's Zoning Ordinance section 401.15.6.12,which states that vehicles not
currently licensed and incapable of movement under their own power, parked outside in excess
of 30 days, are considered junk and shall be disposed of. If you intend to keep this vehicle on
site compliance to the ordinance is required. -
2) The trailer in the rear yard must be removed from the site,as per section 401.15.F.6.a,which
states that vehicles shall be stored at the location of the principal use, this being Weather Guard
Construction Company, located at 5641 Memorial.
3) The 17 pallets of shingles in the rear yard are in violation per section 401.15.6.14,which states
all materials shall be stored within a building or fully screened so as not to be visible from
adjoining properties and the public right of way. These must be removed from the site or the
materials stored within the garage.
4) A permit was issued for the demolition of an old vet clinic and at this time the partially
demolished building is an extreme hazard to the public. This project needs to be completed
immediately or a four foot safety fence must be secured around the perimeter of the structure
to keep the public out.
Items 1,2,&3 must be corrected within 14 days of the date of this letter. Should you have any
questions regarding the above issues, please e-mail me at ibutler@citvofoakDarkheiehts.com or you
may call me direct at 651-275-9590.
