Sternmons a@aldi.us Subject: RE: OPH µ Aldi Grocery Application Letter Andy, At no time did we say for sure this was a minor subdivision. If it did work out that way that would have been great, but it is un- platted lands and thus must go through that process. The City will certainly provide any calculations we have on drainage, but this must be provided by the Applicant in any event. On the utility easements, these may depend on depth, but lets start with 15' on either side for now, this can be tweeked I suppose. See you wed. I do have a couple of questions relating to them that I was hoping you or Eric could shed some light on prior to us making the changes by this Wednesday. These are as follows: Item No. 2 M Can you tell nee why this one lot plat qualifies as a major subdivision? In our previous meeting it was discussed that it was a minor subdivision and thus that is how we proceeded? - Item No. 3 - Can the City provide the drainage calculations that were submitted with the Goodwill Addition for the pond? I have not heard back from the watershed but will be contacting them again, but I would assume that the City should also have these calculations from the previous project. We would need them in order fit our site into the model that was done for the pond and prove whether or not the pond was adequately designed to accommodate this site. Any information would be helpful. - item No. 4 — There is not currently an easement over the City utilities adjacent to oath Street North. Does the City have a preferred width of this easement? If so we will show it accordingly on our prelim plat, if not we will show what we feel is appropriate and provide for your review. If you could please provide some clarification on these items that would be greatly appreciated, I can also call you tomorrow to discuss if needed. In any case will proceed to make the necessary changes and resubmit the updated plans along with supplemental information at the meeting on Wednesday morning. 6/1/2010 Page 2 of 2 Thank you, Andy Brandel, PE t& S Group email: andy.brandel@is-grp.com isdgrp.com From: Scott Richards mailto :srichards @nacplanning.com] Sent: Thursday, May 13, 2010 1:04 Ply Toe Andy Brandel Cc: Julie Hultman; Eric Johnson; Ryan.Stemmons @aldi.us Subject: Fwa OPH d Aldi Grocery Application Letter Andy Please find the Aldi letter with a list of submittal items required to make the application complete.
