Tim Freeman who is currently wrapping up is 6year on the PC has asked for a one year extension to the PC. Applications for thevacancy on the PC created when David White th left are due Feb 24. A one-year extension for T Freeman would result in only one immediate PC vacancy. These items will be addressed in March following the closure of the application period. 2.Not really a code issue, but Staff and BFD did respond to an inquiry about sprinklers in an underground parking garage at Sunnyside and offered its input to the site manager –Cedar management. See enclosed. 3.Due to unavailability of possible abutting owners to the Brackey site (Kowalski’s site owner & Menards) staff did cancel the planned meeting to explore collective options for this site. The Brackey representatives were less than understanding to this fact – even after being less than understanding to the concept initially – so we will see what they would like to do as an alternative moving forward. 4.A draft agreement was provided to the BRIDGE the Valley Bike event – typically held every summer. This matter would be on an upcoming agenda. Recall this managed by the local Sunrise Rotary. 5.Staff did receivean inquiry from a parent at STW High School and Mike Polehna as to the permitting requirements the School District would be obligated to meet if they desired to construct a baseball/softball “stadium” center. It would utilize existing fields. In short, it would be an Amended CUP, but would need to be applied for by the District. It does not appearto be imminent, but would expect be part of theirinitialfund raising checklist. We have not yet heard anything directly from the District. Other Items: Staff will be preparing a memo responing to the received information from theCity of Bayportrelated to the Bayport Fire Deparment Proposal, this matter could be disucssed at an upcoming City Council meeting. Itwould appear the City has a tenative settlement with one union and contiues to work with the other two.
