Home My WebLink About2023-04-13 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes CITY OF OAK PARK HEIGHTS PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Thursday,April 13,2023 Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance: Acting Chair Husby called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present: Commissioners Freeman, Kremer and Van Dyke; City Administrator Johnson and City Councilmember Liaison Representative Liljegren. Absent: Commissioner Van Denburgh and City Planner Richards. II. Approval of Agenda: Commissioner Van Dyke, seconded by Commissioner Freeman, moved to approve the Agenda as presented. Carried 4-0. III. Approval of March 9, 2023 Meeting Minutes: Commissioner Freeman, seconded by Commissioner Van Dyke, moved to approve the Minutes as amended. Carried 4-0. IV. Department/Commission Liaison/Other Reports: City Councilmember Liaison Representative Liljegren reported on activity taken by the City Council at their recent meeting, including approval of Party In the Park to be held at Brekke Park on June 8, 2023. V. Visitors/Public Comment: None. VI. Public Hearings: A. Continued Discussion-Urban Heat Islands— Consider Amendments to Zoning Ordinance 401.15.F. Related to Off-Street Parking, Loading and Landscape Requirements. Acting Chair Husby opened the public hearing at 6:07 p.m. It was clarified that the public hearing had actually been closed at the March meeting but that the Agenda advertised it as a Public Hearing versus Old Business, so that the hearing was being opened for any additional public comment. There being no additional public comment, Commissioner Freeman, seconded by Commissioner Van Dyke,moved to close the public hearing. Carried 4—0.
