We are confident that it will make our citizens' lives much easier and more comfortable for years to come. As you are aware, the upgrade of the pipeline has been significant and therefore has had a major impact on the immediate area surrounding it. With the aesthetic changes, under Oak Park Heights City Ordinance 401.15E.8, it becomes necessary for your agency to screen the view of the pumping station and new piping from residents on the east side of Oakgreen Avenue. We are including a set of before and after pictures to show the significance of the changes that have taken place in the area surrounding the pumping station. Per City Ordinance, screening can be accomplished by either a green belt planting strip or a fence. Please contact the City's building official, Julie Hultman, to discuss options, specifications, requirements, and timelines. Thank you for your help with this. We look forward to working with you on this important aspect of your project. Sincerely, Jennifer Pinski Assistant City Administrator TREE CITY U.S.A. 2 of 14
