Re: SAC Quarterly Reporting for 2024
Dear Ms. Hultman,
Procedure 5.5.2.1 of the SAC Procedure Manual states, "Communities with a prior-year activity level
exceeding 36 SAC units are required to submit the SAC-A form within 30 days of the end of each month.
Communities with a prior-year activity level of no more than 36 SAC units and where the previous reports
have been submitted by the report deadline may report on a quarterly basis (within 30 days of the end of
the quarter) if the Community has received prior approval from MCES."
I am writing to inform you that your activity level and accurate reporting allows you to report quarterly to
MCES for your SAC activity for 2023. The 1% discount is allowed if the quarterly SAC report is submitted
within 30 days of the end of the quarter.
If at any time your SAC activity goes above 36 SAC charges for the year, or if the reports and payment
are not received within 30 days of the end of the quarter, the approval will be revoked, and monthly SAC
reporting will be required.
Keep in mind Procedure 5.5.2.2 states, "If there is no SAC activity for the reporting period, write "No
Activity" on the form and mail it to MCES, without attachments. An e-mail report is acceptable. The e-
mail must state the name of the Community, the reporting period and year, "no activity", and the contact
name, title, and phone number". You can e-mail the reports to: jessica.nye(c�metc.state.mn.us.
Please let us know by February 28, 2024, if your Community will participate in quarterly or monthly
reporting by returning the form signed. If you have any questions regarding the reporting procedure, or

NI I elect my community to participate in the quarterly SAC reporting. I understand that if
our SAC charges ever exceed 36 units or if the reports and payment are not received at
MCES within 30 days of the end of the quarter our privilege will be revoked, and I will be
required to submit monthly.
I do not wish to have my community participate in the SAC quarterly reporting. We will
continue reporting monthly. I understand that the SAC reports and payments are due
within 30 days of the end of the month.
