Re: Outside Storage Container
Dear Sharon,
An outside storage container, from Ironclad Storage, has been in your driveway for an
extended length of time. This container placement is in violation of City Ordinances
401.15.11 as it related to Exterior Storage and 401.15.1) as it relates to Accessory Buildings,
Uses and Equipment.
Storage containers placed to driveways are permitted for outside storage for short
durations of time when being used for storage during a construction project or moving.
They are not permitted as a permanent storage solution at any time.
If you need to have the container on site for temporary period, City Ordinance does have a
couple of options for short term up to 50 days and a longer term that would require an
Interim Use Permit, with a fee if $100.
Please contact me by February 23rd to discuss the matter or have it removed from the
property site prior to March 15, 2024.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this.
Sincerely,
PLANNING & CODE ENFORCEMENT
