Peterson) Nuisance Abatement & Site Compliance Request Dear Danielle, This letter is a follow-up to our conversation of Thursday, July 10, 2025 regarding your Dad's property. Per our conversation, the property remains in probate and once it is cleared, it is your intention to sell the property. Meanwhile, you are responsible for the property's maintenance. When we spoke, I notified you of the property being in violation of City Nuisance Ordinance 1109 and that the yard needed to be cleaned up and mowed. You indicated that would try to get some help and take care of it over the weekend but no later than the end of the upcoming week. I advised that it needed to be taken care of prior to July 29, 2025 or the City would be having it addressed and that all costs associated with that would be assessed to the property. I was at the house yesterday afternoon, there has been no change in the condition of the house or its yard area. The yard needs significant attention as is the house. Abatement of the yard maintenance nuisance requires: 1. Removal of all the stored items from the yard area and their placement to the shed or disposal. 2. Removal of all brush/branches and yard waste. 3. Removal of all garbage and stockpiles of debris and materials form the yard. 4. Mowing of the grass 5. Removal and treatment of weeds. The above abatement is requested to be taken care of prior to Monday, July 29, 2025. I appreciate your attention to the above and ask that you reach out to me with any questions you may have, as to what is being requested and/or to discuss abatement solutions.
